Have just noticed the chin strap cover is torn (both sides) on my system 5. Only spotted it when I cleaned it to put it away. Use an ARAI with fog city in the winter. Anyone else noticed. Only had it since May of to dealers tomorrow see what they say.

System 5 Problems.....

This is a 'known' issue apparently........

Mine did the same virtually the first time I used it........changed without question under warranty by Motorrad Central in Glasgow.

Replacement is fine after 5000 odd miles......

Cheers

Mines one of the later ones, done 22000 miles no probs get yours changed under warranty, it lasts for 2 years I believe.

Personally I'd insist on a new helmet........I believe the replacement cheek pads
will also be faulty as they will have been manufactured as a large batch at the commencement of System 5 helmet production......

Cheers

Thanks Dutchman will ask about that, dont want it to happen once out of warranty. My loose my shiney new GS helmet stickers though (twowheelhumvee). Bugger.
