I tried the C3 and the System 6 back to back. They are surprisingly different helmets 'despite their manufacturing relationship' with quite a different fit.
For me the BW 6 fits much better than the C3.

Seems a good bit lighter than the System 5
Fits well, ventilation good. I like the sunvisor and the pinlock, both of which work well.
Colour choice not too good though.
Quality seems fine so far.

Hasn't there been reports of visors breaking ??
Also, you can't convert it to an open face like the other system helmets, where you were able to buy the open face conversion parts.

Yes, mine did. Got mine a week before a trip to Scotland and was very impressed. Fitted well, Quiet, sun visor excellent. But in the rain, visor leaked, water got in between pinlock and visor so kept misting up
. The black plastic trim around the base came away and to top it all the visor broke off at the pivot at 0115hrs in the pissing rain 
. Luckily enough i was only 10 miles from home.Got it replaced under warranty and the new helmet seems better built. The visor seems more secure and so far hasn't leaked in the rain (watch this space). It seems BWM not only make friday afternoon bikes but helmets as well
Just got one of the system 6 helmets.
Has anyonew noticed the 'strange' way of closing the visor so as to get it to seal correctly.
It seems that the left needs to be closed at the pivot joint - checked with dealer and that is what BMW are stating.

Tried one over the W/E . The only problem is that the fit in my size is to narrow ( one size up is to large). The dealer also mentioned that just like the Sys5 , the Sys6 is not always made by Schubert . Made in China?
Karlp, mine is the same. I think they all are the same and its intended to give a small amount of ventilation under the visor if you want it.
I've got used to it and prefer it to other helmets where the visor will not stay slightly open.

Brilliant, better peripheral vision, I like the fact that the visor is less rounded but that is personal taste.
I have ridden it through pouring rain and have had no issues with any leaks or misting.

Pretty good compared to System 5 but not in the same league as a non flipup e.g S2...less quiet after having autocom fitted today (Took GSRich 6 minutes) but that is entirely down to hearing 'the other half' wittering on
, when she is not singing along to her ipod, after a blissfully quiet 3 weeks

Snug and the new rachet clip that replaces the old seat belt type is much easier with gloves on

The quality seems to be much better product than the System 5 and found it less "klunky" (technical term)n than the C3 I tried.

but no, this lid makes my System 5 feel like you have inserted your head in a medicine ball!

Just ordered one white silver metallic, can't wait to collect next week!! seemed to fit well and £100 cheaper than the C3. so will see.

Is there a problem of supply of System 6 at the moment?
Ordered mine 7 weeks ago dealer told delivery end May now told mid June, apparently some quality problems delaying things.
A few helmets received but not my size 60/61.

Not that I know of, the dealer said would take around 7-10 days. will let you know when I get it.
