Coopers have had my GS for 8 days now to complete a 12 month service, some recall work, and a warranty claim for the tank side panel. I phoned up to see how much longer this would take, to be told your bikes ready, you should have been contacted.
Except its not fixed, cos the tank panels haven't been replaced. Apparently they are on "back order in Germany". This apparently implies BMW have realised there may be a problem. The other little gem was if the bikes done more than a 1000 miles, BMW would not authorise a warranty repair, and they have to fight for a goodwill gesture. Whilst I love the bike, have had good service from the motorcycle side at Coopers, their service department lets the whole 'experience' down.
