keen to hear what it's like.
i did a bit of motorway at the w/e and the buffeting was rattling my head at speed. i have the "touring screen" on it's lowest position and normally, it's ok, but i couldn't put up with that for 500 miles.
Well, I had a very cold ride out into Derbyshire today and purposefully did some M Way miles to see what it's like.
I settled on having it on the highest setting but not brought back towards me as the adjustment mechanism allows you to at the top of it's movement.
Definitely not still air, presumably because there is a big gap around the head light at the high setting

but the air flow was comfortable, steady and no buffeting at all. Still a bit noisy but not in the same loud league as the standard R screen.
The best comparison I can think of is that it was similar to my vanilla GS screen and is, for me, that is fine. Reading some of the 'screen' threads on here in the WBM section though I'm not sure it'd pass muster for those that want RT type protection from the elements

although, a good sign was looking at the speedo and being somewhat surprised how fast I'd been sat at given that my speed sense was calibrated by how noisy/windy the bike normally is
Fat'n'fast reckoned it might be a Powerbronze screen

If so I hope it was a prototype as the quality is pretty poor; the mounting holes are poorly positioned/angled which has resulted in cracking when mounting the screen (yes I was VERY careful) - no reflection on the sale though as it was cheap and I'll defo be using the screen.
Is it worth having? Yeah, I think so for long cold, wet slogs but (and it's a personal thing) I really don't like screens and I think come summer the sleek, sexy, smoked one goes back on. Even when doing long M Way hauls.
Did I mention it's really fecking ugly?
