Talking of Harley's ......
I live just up the road from a (shite) pub that is frequented by a load of feckin Harley riding outlaw / vicking sad fucks. Their penises are so small that when they leave the pub they have to do 80 up the village street with their screaming eagle exhausts at full tap (at midnight). The pub is opposite a small stream and the road has a slightly rounded bridge. (Can you guess where this is going ha ha ...!?).
As I passed by on my way to work, they were all outside having a fag ... I'm sorry to say that I just couldn't resist the temptation (I guess I've got a small dick too!!) stood up on the pegs, stared at them with utter contempt and promptly hoisted the mother of all mingers over the bridge (front wheel back down 20 yards later) before fucking off into the distance !!
Childish, but immensely satisfying .... !! :D

Hey, Have you seen this one. You should post it in a GS section. It'll be hysterical.

New boots!

The Conti's have been very good, (rear lasted 6k which I'm really impressed with - normally my rear is shot by about 4 1/2) but I'm always up for trying something new and thought the Dunlop TR91 was a very good tyre. So I've fitted a new pair of the next generation of TR91 - 'Trail smarts'

Only time will tell .... :thumb2

I'm off on Friday to them there foreign places and will need new tyres when I get back so let us know how you get on with them in Corsica - have to say though, I can't fault the Conti's at all so far :)

Ha ha, I mullered the rims in the early days, but that was down to shite technique! I can almost put the front on with just my hands now - one lever twang for the final push!

pair of Pilot Road 4 trails fitted today:

let us know how you get on with them. i need new tyres in the very near future, and as my trail attacks have now worn in a way that causes a wobble, i'm looking at alternatives.

Soooooo.........................at 8,000 miles my Conti's are shagged (both F & R together which is a first). They are still plenty legal but the handling has dropped right off. Now, this is the longest I've EVER pushed a tyre, on the GS I'd typically get to 4,000/4,500 miles before replacing as I prefer tip top tyres to mileage but, well, I just thought I'd see how the Contis went............

I guess I could just replace the Conti's every 4-5000 miles (which is when I reckon the handling started to go) or I could try something else, sooooooo.........how did you find them Giles? Better, worse or just different??

I have about 500k on them now, and they are great. The old tyres were badly squared off and the handling has been transformed, the bike just rolls into corners now. A couple of wet days and no drama, they do feel better in the wet but I'm far from an expert biker so don't push it in the wet (or dry!).

Hope this helps, unless something drastic happens, I will replace these with the same brand.

The lower speed rating doesn't worry me. It may bother others.

Different bike I know, but I've just done 2.5k on my TC in the Alps on a new pair of PR4's. Very impressed with them in dry and wet - very confidence inspiring. Realised when I got back that (unusually for me) I'd taken them right to the edges without even trying (which explained my chamfered boot toes :) )
