They are fun bikes ................ I've always fancied the orange framed 950SMR

Had one for 3 years ,loved it though the carbs kept blocking with what I think was delaminating petrol tank. Made the Mistake of trading it for a 990SM which had poor fueling and was Fun at Full chat but rubbish around town as you had to feather the clutch all the time . A Good late 950SM is a thing of great Joy .The later bikes had different tanks.Fowlers in Bristol have a nice low milage one for sale.

I've just bought one as well Mike .... it's a mint 09 SMR (so 11 months manufacturers warranty left) supplied & serviced by Premier Bikes, fitted with R&G crash bobbins & paddock stand bobbins, hand guards, Beowulf cans, new back tyre & spare Corbin Gel seat and I'm in love. These bikes rock

So it looks like we are the founding members of the GS Forum SMR SE Section How much were your end cans? I still have the stock ones on and i think they are a little (ahem) restrictive!

The cans were only £320 delivered and seem very good quality for the money (part number KT0010bSS45) maybe not up to Akro quality but they do sound nice all the same
