Just noticed today that after the update the connect app stopped tracking my trips and keeeps telling me to schedule the already done service, but the bike parameters on the app are ok (total mileage, gas, etc.), anyone with the same problem?
I think because it allows changes in the bikes riding characteristics the dealer/BMW might be liable if they fitted it and the user was caught out by any changes. Unlikely I know, and if you go into Enduro Pro where the ABS is potentially turned off, then presumably you should know what you are doing, but by fitting it themselves owners take full responsibility.

Not what we were both informed when we bought bikes we were informed on the 1st service they would fit the chip its not a big issue to fit but you would think the bmw sellers would know what they are doing

What do you mean by that? I had to pair the phone and headset since the update erased all my conections and every time I switch on the bike it reconects, just curious

I meant ,unpair all that is connected ,and then pair up again as starting from scratch . I wasn't aware you had done that since the TFT update. Seems strange if they are connecting, but then you are having to reconnect overtime you switch on.
My bike is due a service next week and checked with the dealer about the update and was told that they will only carry out the update if there was a warranty issue to be resolved, otherwise it would be a customer request which would be chargeable!
Anyone know what the official view is from BMW?
