... in particular, and others, I have Percy Veered with BaseCamp to the point of being able to create routes with both waypoints and via points, recognise the difference between them, zoom in and check the route in detail (avoiding the "turn left here" only to have to retrace my steps due to putting the via point/shaping point off piste), use the rubber band method , divide the route and upload to the 550. Phew! I'm sure the fiddly bits will come in time but I'm happy with my basic standard for now.

I am more and more convinced Basecamp is Good.

One question.
How do I get BaseCamp to mend my ankle? Off for annual trip this thurs with the Boys and Girls to La Belle France with leg in plaster! Going by car, now . How does that work??

...but I don't fancy a wobbly moment parking the GSA on a slope fully freighted with Mrs Fluff nestling behind. Just have to come to terms with being a whimp and going for sympathy. I dare say the big boys will let me back into their gang in due course.
