The BABE'S been found.

Have just been in contact with the French Feds, they have

located the 'babe' in a planned raid in an area 30 kms west of Chamonix.

No damage except ignition wires cut so as to hot wire it. Will find out more

tomorrow when my son inspects it.

Crippys reported back, the 'Babe' is intact and hasn't been thrown down the road. The ballbags have stolen, my gas stove, gs gloves, curley auto com extension cable, sheep on a seat and the two BMW moto sport tank logos. The hoors.
The ignition wire needs to be replaced which isn't a big problem.
Decision is do I collect it or try to get the Insurance to bring it back. Decisions decisions.
Main thing she's back in safe hands.

Save yourself the grief let them bring it back and go to a dealer for repairs

THEN you get the dealers warranty it's right and you can hold them to it!

Got finally got word today from the insurance.

The 'Babe' is going to be repatriated shortly.

Insurance paid out for repairs, replacement parts and bringing her back home.
Total price - roughly £2250.
