Hi Paul I also have the same corrosion that you had. Contacted BMW today and am waiting on a reply. I did ask my dealer whats the likely outcome and was told a new engine. I was wondering how you justified not taking a new engine as a replacement. Also you said they gave you full value of your bike, meaning they offered you market value? Many Thanks Neil
