the best bike i've ever ridden

So, something related to the starter gets chewed up, complicated by the fact that all of the bits are buried deep inside the new engine design:

This needs a complete engine strip, further complicated by no training, lack of technical knowledge and probable lack of available parts. New engine offered, further complicxated by the need for a special part from the factory to fit the new engine. Remember that engine had only done 200 miles.
Anyone with a new model needs to know that parts availability can be a real issue with any new model. Lets hope this is a one off.

Firstly, where do you get all this "LC bashing"? Just because people may not have fallen in love with the new "WC" isn't grounds for castigating them for "bashing"

I think the worst I've seen in this thread is a few people having ridden the "Toilet" ["Water Cooled" = "WC" = "Toilet" + "get a sense of humour"] and preferred their current GS/GSA rides.

I'm recommending that the mods ensure that any post containing offensive should be labelled in the title.

We have NSW for posts with dodgy images so I propose we use NIVEA to distinguish posts that may offend the new boys with sensitive skins.

Can you confirm the rumour that you keep your gloves on when you go for a pee?
Did I touch nerve or something?

You like profanity on forums? Suit yourself. I don't.

As for any «sense of humour», you really find this «toilet» joke funny? Then, we definitely don't have the same sense of humour.

As JB has said previously: Hammam, if you don't like it................................don't let the door catch you on the way out

Are you a Church pastor?

Seems like you guys don't get irony

Strange. I'm pretty sure I've seen many people not agree and show their disagreement and criticize one another on this forum, and not been shown the door.

That's one reason I'm surprised to suddenly learn this forum has only one alternative: either you agree with every comment, or you're out. I think I've heard about this kind of ruling somewhere else. Now, let me think... they usually call the perpetrators dissidents or something...

Hammam, why dont you read the posts before you start typing your responses?

No-one is showing you or anyone else the door. It's just people pointing out that this is how this forum is and that you aren't going to change it so either accept it or don't login.
No-one is stopping you from posting your views or criticism or disagreements. You're as free as anyone else to post what you see fit but don't criticise the style of other forum members because that is their right just as it's your right to stay or leave.

And how do you call «don't let the door catch you on the way out»?

But let me try and get this straight: I am «as free as anyone else to post what I see fit» EXCEPT if it's criticising the style ot others? Because it is THEIR right (it surely is), but it is not MY right to say I disagree? Sure, that's one vision of freedom.

Don't mis-quote JB.
He said "If you don't like it ....... don't let the door catch you on the way out"

As you're probably a froggie speaker let me transale to English.
"Stay and enjoy the site ...... But if you don't like all the bad language, raunchy photos, lewd double entendres, people nicknaming your bike a toilet, then tough shit because that's how it seems to happen on here and if you choose to leave ...... don't let the door catch you on the way out"

Isn't there a Canuck GS forum you can join so we don't have all this wingeing?
