as so few people are apparently wanting to post here.
Some may be concerned that having not posted in a while they would be targeted as the culprits repsonsible for the removal of Ronno & Oonyack (RonJon). That may be aimed at me, feel free, and do your best as I've been insulted by experts for years.
There is no doubt that the dynamic duo contributed an enormous amount to this site, (maybe 90% nonsense
), and did a lot of good but they weren't the only people here, plenty of others have been regular contriibutors.
The SS needs to find a way forward from the regretable events of the last week. RonJon can both read perfectly well and I'm sure that if the situation suits them they will appear at rideouts and meetings. Lots of people have alternative ways of contacting the guys.
Folk who perhaps were put off going to SS organised events as they felt that they'd not be welcome should rethink their position. Most people who have met RonJon would happily consider them as friends and they're characters in meatspace in my opnion are far preferable to their web persona's after the odd bottle or two of
. I can only go on my experience but whilst being unsure of what to expect at the first event I was certainly made welcome.
So lets try and move forward.
Anybody interested in the history of aviation? How about a meet here:- http://www.nms.ac.uk/our_museums/museum_of_flight.aspx
A couple of hours to wander about followed by a run through the east borders area with a bit of lunch en route. Someone suggest a date?
Garfield among others stays near there and could maybe recommend a nosh stop and route as it's not a part of the world that I know well.

sessions and these take time to organise and arrange and credit must be given for their time and effort.

......at the end of the day, the SS is only as good as the people who post in it and we can't continue to be entertained by a couple of people, you get out what you put in.....
at 10.30 am, I'm not sure that I can be down there with you.
