Ok u people after sitting on the fence or my Transalp I went for a test ride on a R1200gs and my much beloved took to it. So come on tell me what price should I pay for 5yr old with history and panniers.

Where's the 5 year old bike being sold ie BM dealer / other make dealer / private? What accessories does it have? Condition? Warranty? ABS? Miles left on tyres?

Have you got a link to the 1200?.You'll soon get an unbiased opinion of it.
May be worth poneying up the dosh to subscribe and get access to the sales/wanted bit.
A Transalp should be pretty saleable/swappable without giving money to a dealer.
