Well, The REAL GSers Were There!!
Just got back half an hour ago after a crackin run
. Got to John Clarks bang on 10:30 to find only that hardy GSer, PhilM waiting
- he had already had a wet and windy run down from Aberdeen.
Unfortunately no sign of Scotch, Delboy, Mr Adventure or Ronno - maybe see you guys on one of the drier days
- this is getting like a feckin Harley club
- and wait a minute!, just remembered - IT WAS SCOTCH THAT ORGANISED THIS RUN
Anyway, Phil and I headed off via Coupar Angus to Dunkeld, then because it was such a nice day
I decide to take Phil up to Amulree and over Glen Quaich to Kenmore
then along Loch Tay and over the ben Lawers road to Glenlyon
A great welcome' as usual, at the tearoom and great soup and sandwiches etc. G.C. arrived about 15minutes after us along with 3 others - 2 GS's and Basil on his KTM
We all headed down to the A9 together, then G.C. headed North for the Laggan road, his three mates headed South for Englandshire and Phil and I took the scenic route back via Dunkeld, Blair, Kirriemuir(coffee) then split for home at Forfar
Good to see everyone who was there on a day like this, and thanks for the company Phil
Cheers.......................Grizzly
