Well, The REAL GSers Were There!!

Just got back half an hour ago after a crackin run :thumb :D . Got to John Clarks bang on 10:30 to find only that hardy GSer, PhilM waiting :bow - he had already had a wet and windy run down from Aberdeen.
Unfortunately no sign of Scotch, Delboy, Mr Adventure or Ronno - maybe see you guys on one of the drier days   - this is getting like a feckin Harley club  - and wait a minute!, just remembered - IT WAS SCOTCH THAT ORGANISED THIS RUN :nenau :nenau
Anyway, Phil and I headed off via Coupar Angus to Dunkeld, then because it was such a nice day  I decide to take Phil up to Amulree and over Glen Quaich to Kenmore :thumb then along Loch Tay and over the ben Lawers road to Glenlyon :bounce1
A great welcome' as usual, at the tearoom and great soup and sandwiches etc. G.C. arrived about 15minutes after us along with 3 others - 2 GS's and Basil on his KTM
We all headed down to the A9 together, then G.C. headed North for the Laggan road, his three mates headed South for Englandshire and Phil and I took the scenic route back via Dunkeld, Blair, Kirriemuir(coffee) then split for home at Forfar :thumb
Good to see everyone who was there on a day like this, and thanks for the company Phil :thumb

Cheers.......................Grizzly

Grizzly, You'll see me when it's dry, wet or whenever I feel the urge but no' when it's wet and my blood/alcohol level is likely to get me jailed ;) I wasnae even scheduled to be on the run so dinnae start slagging me off...

 :(

Edit: Of course, one should NEVER ride when one's blood/alcohol levels are in doubt, regardless of weather conditions :thumb

That's 'coz am no as daft (or wet) as you look ;)

Glad to hear you had a good, safe day :thumb

Sorry for the no show, but it's been pishin doon here aw day. I just cannae enjoy ridin the bike as much when the weather is this shyte. Had the forecast remained as it's original promise, things would've defo been different.

Noo, where's my Harley catalogue! :ymca

Cant understand why you would just cancel a run FFS its only a wee bit o rain. :nenau
Riding in the rain today was almost spiritual.

I kept saying, “Jesus when in Gods name is this rain going to stop” It didn’t and I need to re proof ma breeks

Not Slagging!! - Only A Dig!

Sorry Ron, didn't mean to upset you :D - you are, of course, perfectly correct :bow - you weren't scheduled to go on the run. Why then bother to put on a lengthy post explaining why you didnae fancy a run in the rain :nenau - not much in the way of encouragement for those who were scheduled to go, eh mate??

Cheers......................Grizzly

What are you on about George? What lengthy post? I really don't see what you mean, mate :nenau

If, as you suspect, people were "encouraged" to drop out because of my post, they couldn't have been that keen in the first place.

Regardless, let's not fall out about it. It seems like you enjoyed your run in any case. Take it that ice creams weren't on the menu at Kirrie this time?...
