My throttle cable is squeaking a little bit at the twistgrip end.

Is there anyway I can get oil in to the head of the cable?

I notice there is a screw under the throttle grip. Is this an oiling point? I don't want to undo it without knowing the consequences.

Or should I be looking at taking off the Bar end and getting some access that way?

All help appreciated.

Maybe it's the twist grip itself? Don't think you're supposed to oil the cable as it's got a teflon inner... or so I read somewhere? Imagine the screw you refer to is holding on the plastic cover that covers cable?

I used to put a bit of Vaseline on the bar before I put the grip back on.

He has different a problem than you:comfort:D
