Puzzling this one. 55plate 12GS
Had throttle go loose soon after purchase, with bare cable at throttle end under handguard. Seemed to run on one cylinder. Dealer "sorted it".
Move on two months, on motorway, bike feels lumpy, throttle loose again; at idle appears on one cylinder. Left panel off, gentle tug on cable and bike runs smooth again.
Whats happening, why intermittent, and I'm concerned with possible engine damage if this keeps happening.
Bike not under warranty, and I will stick with good local independent for any work needing doing.
Cheers all

The throttle cable goes into a splitter box under the tank on the LH side of the bike.

My guess is that one of the throttle cables that go between the splitter box and throttle bodies has popped off its plastic cam wheel.

Try tracing the route of the cable(s) from handlebar to splitter box to throttle bodies, the fault is there somewhere.:nenau
