Well, down here in sunny Peru our transam trip contiues.
Yesterday one of our no. loped his 1200 adventure and broke off the throttle position pot on the left hand pot (looking forwards). Now a sapre is to hand but it will still not fire on the l/h pot. No manual to hand and I am nort familier with 1200s, am I right in sugesting that this will require resetting on the bmw computer before it will function.?
Any advice will help as bmw dealers here do not exist (place looks like bahgdad without the war!). I will have another look tomorow so if any one can help`i'd be obliged. My own rewerected 150 is still going inspite
of a doggies attempt to kill us bothj, bike looped and smashed the is creen etc
now held together with gaffer and cable ties!.
