Tight helmet !

Ohh Er missus.
I have a Tour x 4 in large which is fine somedays and tight around the crown other days. I have the 7 mm inner and not sure that forking out £47 for the 5 mm inner would help much.
Does anyone know if there is anyway to widen the crown.
I've heard of the spoon method, barring that, if anyone has a 5 mm inner they won't to swap for a 7 mm I'll give that a whizz.

shove a plastic football inside the lid and blow it up for a few days.

Just use your thumbs to compress where the bits that hurt are, no need for spoons, just press hard with your thumbs, always works for me when I get a new helmet!

I noticed that I could alter the polystyrene inner with my thumbs. I'll try it a bit more and see how it goes.

Take out the inners and place under some heavy books or an arse cheek for a few hours and bobs your dad's brother.
