Time for a 100PD rebuild

I've got switch gear envy now... :tears

I have got that but also I totally have "plastic interlocked multiple drawer fixed to the garage wall storage system" envy.....

I bet every one of thoe tiny little drawers has a single nut screw or bolt lovingly nestled on a little velevet cushion.

Those trays are a throwback to a previous life and are Mostly full of electronics chips, resistors and discrete components. I can't bring myself to throw them out and they do still come in useful from time to time.

Ahh, Farmertronics....:D

See that Solvol autosol lid on the floor, just behind the rear wheel. Guess what dozy sod stood on the tube and fired a whole new tube of solvol up the wall :blast

I'm starting to get the impression you're a bit of a clumsy bloke Rob...:blast

One of the parts that lets bike restos down is scruffy switchgear.

New switches fitted today

The oinly reason I wish I'd bought a younger GS! Cant be doing with the older switchgear. Always like the "Monopoly" switchgear!

I would bet that just about every single bloke reading this thread has done THAT.....(I definitely have........more than once......:blush)........

Gummi Pflege does a good job of bringing up switch gear. Bought a job lot of tatty GS switch gear that came up a treat with this stuff. Also excellent on rubber bits.

Did you see a brand name inside the switches?
Last set I got were no name stuff and were good for about half a dozen clicks, so hang on to the old stuff for a couple of days.
OEM switches with the brand name inside sell on Ebay for more than the price of the new unbranded ones so I cant be the only person who has had the same experience!

I've been working in Sheffield all week and then had an archery lesson this afternoon. I'll be back on the bike in the morning. Might even get it fired up by lunchtime

its an East Mids thing. You never know when the French will kick off again so need to be ready.

It's still legal to shoot a Scotsman with a bow and arrow from York city walls :scotsman not too easy to identify one these days!
