Well...i read all the thoughts, views and advice on the 70,s and thought..sod it.
Just done a trip to Morocco and back in 2 weeks...3500 miles..all i can say is in my opinion these tyres are brilliant.
I did motorway miles to Plymouth from Sheffield....motorway from Santander to Algeciras...local roads and piste plus sand in Morocco...had dry hot weather and lots of rain in Spain...these were on a fully laden gsa and not hanging around.
I found no noise problem and the tyres are now about 50% worn and as we all know..the first half wears much faster than the second.
There is no sign of uneven wear and more importantly..no flattening off due to motorway use.
I highly recommend these tyres and will be sticking with them from now on....

Welcome back John ! did you have a good time? Are the tyres still in good nick? How were they off road?

W Fantastic time Mark...went from Chefchouen to Azrou and onto Benni Mellal and up to Imichill and over to Todra then onto one of Tims recommendations to stay which is brill and cheap..Kasbah Itran at El Keela m'gouda.... then Ourrzazate and onto Zagora ..stayed at Kasbah Sirocco which again is a great place to stay.....then along the "wash board" to Merzouga and stayed at Kasbay Azalay..again a fab place...that was my first experience in sand and with a fully loaded gas it was ...erm...fun......arse end went all over the place but somehow i stayed on.....then we headed back north....
I love Morocco and hope to get back in Sept / October......
