Tobinator replacement

Hi All,

After much fruitless searching of this forum and the web, I thought I'd just ask the font of all human wisdom - you.

I have a Givi Airflow af330 screen with tobinators fitted, and I am planning a bike refurb this autumn (2006 R1200GS). Part of this refurb is to replace the screen - it was hit by a wheel bolt at 85mph and cracked the lower screen one week after I bought it! I have a new screen now, ready to replace, but I would like to replace the tobinators, just for the look (vain I know).

I currently have a 22mm offset and want to install a smaller adjustment bracket. The only thing I have found in my searching is the Wunderlich ScreenSaver Vario, which gives a 20mm offset, which may do the job, but I can't find out where to get them in the UK.

Also, someone, somewhere in this forum posted a link to something similar, and I can't now find that link.

So,

What's wrong with the existing Tobinators? Could they be cleaned and laquered (spelling doesn't look correct...)?

Hi Mick,

there's nothing wrong with them, just that they are too long and have about 2 - 3" spare, so don't look right - I was just looking for something smaller and neater, then I could pass the Tobs on to someone who needs them.
