I have had two different coiled leads for my heated jacket. In both cases the cable used to come disconnected inside the accessory plug.
The fix is really easy. Open up the plug, make sure the cables are well screwed into the terminals then fill the inside of the plug with glue from a hot glue gun. Be sure to close up the plug again before the glue sets. Make sure some of the glue comes out of the top of the plug and it acts as a strain reliever. Problem solved.
