just got tomtom v2. i have paired it with phone and autocom and it tells me its all ok. problem is when the autocom answers incomming calls, the caller can hear me but their voice is comming through the phone!!!!!!!!!!
Its like i have audio out but no audio in. If i disconect the tomtom the autocom and phone works fine. The name of the caller appears on the tomtom screen but as soon as the auto answer picks up the message on the screen says 'transfering sound to phone' ? 3 days in now and its driving me crazy!!!! Any help appreciated. cheers:

To see what is causing the problem pair your phone direct with the dongle itself. If the phnoe works both ways you know the problem is TomTom related.

tried that thanks and autocom/phone works.
Tomtom say that there unit only works with the supplied headset, but the tomtom pairs with the phone etc? I think its a setting but have run out of ideas!!!!!!!!!!!!! Autocom were not helpful (unusual for them) and nor were tomtom, they just blamed each other!!

I think I was with my post to be honest, the problem can be found as I have suggested. If the dongle works with your phone you know our side of the system is working fine, if the problem then happens with the TomTom you then know the problem will be down to the TomTom.

Have you also tried a different version of software on the TomTom as it is becoming clear that the latest software has issues....which is something we know that I am sure TomTom will deny themselves.

So I am trying to help you and please do not shoot me or Autocom down as the proof is the above really.

I have to agree with Rich. I've had a few problems bluetooth connectivity wise using different equipment (Zumo, Tomtom, and various Nokia Phones) and I must say that the only truely reliable bit of kit in the whole equasion has been the Autocom. Every glitch I've had has been due to connectivity between phone and Satnav. I'm currently having problems with my TomTom V2 and my Nokia.
Bluetooth sure is mysterious sometimes.

rich, did not mean it that way, just that guy i spoke to at your firm seemed
totally fed up and had recieved tons of calls it seems regarding this prob.
Tomtom denied ever hearing of you at first then when i got 'direct' with him he just hung up!!!!!! autocom have been great so far so don't take this personaly mate..........Just really frustrated with the Tomtom 'help'?
