TomTom, Tyre To Travel and Mac

TomTom users and Tyre - are any of you using Tyre on a Mac? If so - any recommendations on which gizmo to use to allow Tyre to work on a Mac?
I had a look at the Wine website and the techspeak stopped me rather quickly.

Tyre only works with Windows at the moment

And the best way to put windows on is parallels desktop. (Or VMware fusion) (or virualbox).

You will need a copy of windows though.

Sorry didn't read your post fully. I use my Mac with a Garmin.

Hehe... fair enough iand46 - since last week, the daily free time routine is to try and get on to Garmin about why I have a Nuvi 765T and a Zumo 660 with lifetime updates that say "cannot unlock Maps".
We've been through it all, including "it's because it's a Mac" - I suggested if it was that then why do they offer Mac software? Oh, we've re-done them both on Garmin Express, Webupdater, Map installer... Yep, on a Mac and on a PC. So far the people I've spoken to don't know why.
Which is useful.

I try not to get too involved with my 660 after reading all the problems people have getting help from Garmin
I just plug in my unit to use maps on the Mac & only do one update per year via Express.
