Does spending a fortune on an exhaust really make a huge difference? What about jetting etc?

bin there, done that on an 1150. waste of time & money IMO.

i'm leaving the 12 stock.

er, probably :)

So far a Motorrad Concepts GPS mount is a definite plus a second power socket. That's about it ........... until I get it, that is!

John, I'm sure you knew what I meant when I said jetting. Anyway my spare jet engine is being fitted in teh top box.

And if you want to go superbike baiting or track daying….you’ll want a set of these 17” fat wheels and soft sticky tyres….

Though you'll have all the GS purists looking down their noses at you  :nono

I've looked a a few dyno charts and £500 seems to get about 5bhp extra.

Does it make THAT much of an improvement. I'm sure the figures do not tell teh whole story.

Some bungy cords or tie wraps to secure the centre stand in the UP position when riding off road. The damn thing rattles if you go over bumps a little quick.

On my 06/'05 GS are fitted : Wunderlich Xtreme windscreen (less buffeting), larger plate for sidestand (stability), hugger (no muddy left leg), larger brakepedal ('cos I've got big feet). All have proved worthwhile.
Before the comments start, big feet and big hands only indicate ... big boots and gloves ;)

The best addon is in the middle, to the left and to the right in the picture!
