Just fitted new tyres... and the rear valve stem/TPS unit is leaking from the seal.. Nipped it up and it seems to have stopped but would like to know the correct torque setting for the unit if anyone can point me in the right direction
From the manual its tighten to 12Nm then slacken then re-tighten to 12Nm. Locktite 243 on the thread.
When I changed a battery in mine I gave the seal a very thin coating of red rubber grease beforehand and just nipped it up so it was snug but not overly tight. Holding its pressure well.

IIRC there is a rubber grommet under the nut. Could be that it's had it? You used to have to buy a whole new unit before but I'm pretty sure you can now buy just a new nut and rubber washer. Might be worth checking with your local dealer as well as the mends suggested above.

Thanks for the input chaps... took the wheel back to my tame spanner monkey.... he took the tyre off again, and made sure the valve/monitor unit was seated correctly and torqued up as it should be .... then put the tyre back on again, hopefully all is now well

Exactly what I did with mine a year ago. I also rechecked the nut when tyre pumped up and it took a little more of a turn. But I used way below 12Nm. That just seemed too risky to me.
