Holy cow !!

Just messaged my dealer to order a side stand plate and bar risers for the new bike to be told there’s a new offer out and I can order anything I want up to about £1200 for free -that’s VAT free so £1500 in UK

Collected it today and fitted JK3D seat kit .
Makes a huge difference.
Only ridden a few miles as knackered after flying back from New York overnight and back still playing up .
First impression is bike is fabulous. Only slight issue was sloping seat and that’s now fixed for $28 delivered !!!

Nice looking bike. I will have to try one as I imagine they have improved since I bought one in 2015 when everything bar the motor was a bit bargain basement.

Nice to see they have fitted proper tyres in the T32. The original bike shipped with horrible, single compound D222 that were never sold retail.

Certainly a contender should I decide to replace the R1200RS
 
I see it has the same Dash as my new T Max which is no bad thing

I like the tunability of the modes .

Sport has full power etc with firm suspension.
Street has slightly less with softer suspension.
Rain is self explanatory
Custom lets you set up your own parameters for power, wheelie control, slide control and hard or softer suspension.

Can it be programed for full power, full engine braking, normal or street suspension, with soft or gradual initial throttling? And maintain those settings? Unfortunately this was not an option on the Africa Twin 1100 I had.

Kind of .
In Custom you can set your own parameters for power (PWR), Traction control (TCS), Slide control (SCS), wheelie control (LIF) and firm or softer suspension (SUS).

So I’ve got Custom set for full power but with softer suspension (A-2) as shown here

There’s no programmability for engine breaking or throttle sensibility.

Is throttling always the same, or is it different between pwr settings as in max power = more abrupt "sporty" throttle?

I like how diametrical the bike is, from every angle. Lack of exhaust on one side, means you can have both Yahaha as well as Givi, etc panniers of same size and distance from the bike.
One thing I dislike about my KTM, is the panniers, being of two different sizes and because of the exhaust, it makes overall bike look really wide at the back. Also marginally wider than handlebars too.

Just a thought regarding the flight beggaring up your back, have you thought about trying a different airline? :unsure:;):beerjug:

The little I’ve ridden the bike I’ve not noticed . Very smooth in all modes

Good for Yamaha that they solved the problem that was there on earlier versions, at least the ones over here.

at a price. The base Tracer is £11k. With the better quality components, add another £4900. It's good there is a choice but the Tracer GT+ is priced in V100 Mandello & R1250RS territory.
