I’ve connected my phone and BMW ID to the new connected navigator. Two questions:
How do I get the traffic reports?
Why does the app say 25 days of trial period left?

Any advice appreciated.

======

I have edited the title slightly, put two key words in bold and moved your post.

Hopefully someone will be along to help you.

I believe you need a SIM card in the unit to receive traffic reports.
I've fitted a spare SIM card lying around so can have mobile data but haven't found or tried that facility yet cos I keep on turning off the SIM :)

in the bm cars there is already a sim. It costs £70 a year for the updates. Often get them cross country but the temptation is to ignore it and not re route...its like a game of do you believe them or not...

Hi, in addition to getting a SIM card, you can also use your phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot to obtain traffic updates. This will obviously have an effect on the battery life.

Re: the 25 days thing, I had this as well but once I put my phone and the CRN all together on the bike, it disappeared after my first ride.
