I've been missing my previous 990ADV since the day I sold it last year (for financial reasons)

Then I was offered 1st refusal by the guy that I sold it to to buy it back but I unfortunately didn't have the space for it ......... gutted!

Anyhoo both of those circumstances have changed so I started down the road of looking for another Adventure bike, Africa twin, 1150GS, Aprilia Caponord or maybe a 950ADV if I could find one within budget.

Imagine my glee when this cracker popped up for sale and very reasonably priced! (I'll be losing the Givi top box though)

KTM serviced in April, brand new tyres, new brake pads and a complete new clutch kit 200 miles ago. It's absolutely ready to go!

Collect it next Saturday! :bounce1

I'll let the photo's do the talking!

She was very nice in 2008:blast

:D

Hideous luggage all of it, needs some Zegas:thumb2

Those photo's were taken today (he clearly can't set the clock on his camera)

I love the Hepco and Becker Gobi panniers but I might dump the top box in the Tyne!

Looks a beaut :thumb

As you say, the top box has to go, looks shite ....

..... but the H & B cases are just fine :thumb

As you say .... ready to go. Enjoy :thumb

Be nice when it's cleaned and polished !!!!!!!!

Seriously though...........lovely looking bike, enjoy!!!!!!!

New clutch kit? Is that a sign of having a hard life?

I was wondering about that although it looks like a bike that's been pampered. The clutch my 06 950 is fine after 38k although the clutch slave was replaced in 2010 (a known fault).

The Gobi panniers are great and should stay but ditch the top box and paint the pannier frames back to black. The orange crash bars should stay as they look like the same as the 2012 model 990.

Enjoy as it looks a cracker. :thumb2

It's done 33k miles and my thought process is that if it's done a bit of work two up with luggage around the alps then it'll have worn quicker than someone riding solo locally. If the bike looked a bit tired then I'd have considered it more carefully but with FULL KTM history and looking the way it does I'd be very surprised if it's been abused.

They're staying orange!
