I like the simplicity of the Tutoro chain oiler on my Himalayan.

One possible thing to watch out for:

If you don’t leave the flow rate adjustment screw screwed in and you leave the bike for a long period (say over the winter and early spring) all the oil might well leak out. Whether this was accelerated by the very hot weather we enjoyed. I have no idea.

I have now taken up screwing the flow rate adjuster right in, when the bike is not in use.

From the manual, which I am sure you read:

"If leaving your bike unused for extended periods please turn
the flow control valve to OFF as barometric (weather) changes
can lead to some drips from the nozzle."

I would think extreme temperature variations would lead to the same thing as the oil in the reservoir would expand and contract potentially opening and closing the valve.

Could be some truth in that hot weather theory; i have noticed our pump soap in the bathroom leaking from the nozzle whilst it's been in direct sunlight; must be expansion or summat; :D
As you were;

I put a small vent hole in ours and it cured it. 👍
