Bet you a fiver that Continental will not release any details of what went wrong with that tyre. They should be forced to release their findings to the public.

Tried the CRA3 on the 1290 SAS and really didn't like it. Maybe it fell apart
i've got them on my vstrom 650. i won't be doing 220kph.

Oh FFS, hope the CTA3's are okay, have ordered a pair to replace the Dunlop Trailmax Meridians that have been on the bike for less than 400miles and the front is faulty.
Dunlop are being an utter pita ,making me jump through hoops because their product is faulty CNUTS

Saw this a couple of weeks ago, got the CRA3s on my GS and love them, I don’t tend to cruise at 220kmh though
purely because you don't have an Autobahn. The tyres are rated above the speed he was travelling, so not his fault. What if he had done a track day?
did another 160mls on the strom today, beginning to get the hang of the ra3 tyres now after about 1000mls.
