ok, i am asking for some guidance here please.
i currently have Metz Tourances on my 1150 and love them,
however i wish to take her off road and have a bit of fun, whatever nature can throw at me :P
what seems to be the popular choice for good knobblies that dont disintergrate to quick if left on for commuting, or don't get too squirmy on tarmac ?
thanks for any advice :thumb2

The ever popular TKC80.

There is a thread in the font of all wisdom with tyre choices and what people on the site already say about them. Might want to look there.

TKC 80's.
Once you get used to them, they're spot on.
Just done 3000miles to morocco and back and they still are 50% on the rear! (and i was fully loaded camping etc).

DONT ride with very light gloves on though, as I am still suffering from vibration white finger (not kidding).

Tyres

A good compromise is a kc80 on the front 9where it will last for ever ) and a tourence on the rear. Stops the front letting go on the rough and the back end is controlable not brilliant for thick liquid mud.
