Tyre Question.

Just looking for some advice from people who know their tyres.
I need a new rear tyre, but cannot get hold of an Anakee3 tried the Visorshop, they can’t get them from the wholesalers/suppliers.
He suggested an Adventure tyre instead, but, here’s the question, can I run an adventure on the rear Anakee3 on the front until the front needs replacing or replace the pair?

I would keep to a matched (manufacturer & Model) pair if at all possible, they will be designed & tested to have the same characteristics as each other

I'm in a sort of similar position,

I need a new rear on my LC, but like to do them as a pair,

The rear i have is very square , but deemed ok by the dealer

Anyway they need to go ..

Now i have had Trailriders before, there good, & Tourances, also good (but need a lot of scrubbing in compared to the Trailriders)

Both have come via M&P pair deals

Cani get a deal on them at the moment .... like feck, individual tyres , or buy one from one place and another from another place

The costs are significantly higher

I spoke to M&P and they said if they could get the tyres, they could do the deals,

basically it's the suppliers either havn't got the stock, or the oem's production schedules are so low due to C-19

Change in pairs , matched , as this will make your riding more fun , trying to balance front rear wear is a pain , it’s a bike , it’s fun , and remember always the feel of a new set of tyres . Bliss

Try just changing the rear and see how it feels, if you don't like it you can then change the front.

Try just changing the rear and see how it feels, if you don't like it you can then change the front.
