All,

I have for the last 3 sets of tyres been using Metzler tourance (XP's) but I am only getting around 7 - 8 thou miles. My daily commute is aroun 100 miles on m/way and city.

Is this an acceptable mileage or is there a better tyre to use?

Are FWR in kennington, London the cheapest at £209 fitted.

cheers R

I used to get 8-9 from a front and 10-11 from a rear. Actually I'd normally get 10-11 from a front as well, but only cos I ignore the canvas that appears and wait until the rear is ready to change.

Currently got a set of shagged TKCs on that must have done 8-9k... interesting in the wet...

Why not try regular Tourances ? They last longer than the XP| variety, I get mine off ebay from roundandblack

Continental Trail Attacks.
Unreal performance, have done 11K now and still going strong. Including two 4k trips abroad on fast hot motorways (and 3.5k with full camping kit, three fully loaded boxes and my girlfriend!). Rear one has 2mm left. Front has 5mm.

Am putting them back on (the used ones, prob replace the back one now) when my TKC's come off from my green laning jovalities next month.

I know what I am buying next.
