i dont want to go to alot of expense as i am in the middle of moving house, but can i expect the same as tourances with

michelin Anakee 2 ,in the past i have found pilot road 4 brilliant but expensive

the anakee 2 can be bought for under a 150 quid a pair .any advice please

Anakee 2 is a fine tyre, I always got good grip and good mileage out of them and will probably go back to them once my Anakee 3's wear out in a couple of months. I think they look better than the 3's as well.

Anakee 2 front will wear unevenly and cause a vibration. My bike was fitted with them from new and I complained about vibration to NOG BMW and they said it was the tyre. Balanced it to no avail, replaced the Anakees with Conti Trail Attack, no more vibes.

That's a good price for what is a fine tyre.

I am on my 3rd set of Anakee 2's!

I have done off-roading with friends on 350cc bikes and, to their surprise, I kept up reasonably well.

I have also done some serious twisties with a group of sport bikes and had no trouble again, melting the rear tire right to the edge on both sides.

So yes, I like them!!! :)

PS: never had any vibration problems as mentioned in a previous post.
