Thanks but all ok. Not home yet but currently in Spain and will be catching ferry from Gijon on Friday. We didn't bother with new tyres in the end. After the kindly chaps on here let us know there were a number of places available to get them from in Morocco we thought we would see if the wear rate slowed. It did so concern diminished rapidly. In Morocco we spent a lot of time on the pistes which helped with the longevity.
My mate is on TKCs and they were the ones wearing down quickly. I'm on more knobbly Mitas tyres which were great on the rough stuff but once they wear out are bloody horrible on tarmac. Front is getting really quite smooth now. Hey ho...it's all a compromise. I'm hoping for a dry ride home else it may get a bit lively!
Thanks again for everyone's help. (Apart from Twizzle obviously).
Ahem...please see last four words of post 28 again. No use at all I thought! (Although some thanks must go for the effort I guess. It was lovely that you tried and I know you did your best).
