My particular 12 is fitted with Anakees, which seem pretty good given the current weather/road conditions.
I just wondered, as I'm not very likely to be partaking of much motocross, has anyone tried the Bridgestone BT020 "road tyre" fitment.
I know the guy in BiKE with the long term test bike did but I was interested in the opinions of real people who were spending their own money......

My bike came with Trailwings. I replaced the rear with a Tourance (no Trailwing available). At about 12,000 miles I replaced those tires with BT020s, front and rear. I give them a thumbs up. :thumb

They make the bike noticably more stable in crosswinds, and they feel better in agressive cornering. Haven't ridden much in the rain with them, so I can't comment on that. But on my FJR1300 the BT020s were quite good, though in fairness I switched to Pilot Roads on the FJR for the last 20,000 miles...

The rear on mine will shortly be due for replacement and I thought about the 020s. However, the 607s it came with are difficult to fault. Surprisingly good grip in the dry, excellent in the wet/cold. Plus they wear well.

My real-world cash will go for more of the same.

Cheers

Andy
