Non whatsoever afaic. Depends what your normal riding style is. Im a great believer in PR4s but there are dozens of options out there along with 1000s of opinions. Your choice

Depends upon how much of a riding god you are ?
PR4 = excellent handling, although around 5k life expectancy.

I tried conti road attack 2 once by they seemed to make the ride a lot harsher and turn in was silly fast, mileage wasn't exceptional either

try it with Conti TKC-70.
TBH the Road Attack 2s on mike have done ok on miles and they handle a lot better than ordinary Tourance. The back still grips though the middle is getting thin.

If you're not off-roading they are hard to beat. On my 3rd set now, they still felt good right down to the wear markers.
Roadsmart 3s for me. Wearing well and feel very neutral.
Conti Trail Attacks for me. Personally I just don't like the look of the PR4's on the GS. They just look wrong.
On a GS - you wont outride Tourances in whatever guise they come.
But - if you plan on doing roads ......... Michelin Pilot Road 4 (and most other makes which do a Sport/Touring tyre) will outperform it in all but longevity.
I rode 1200 GSAs for 10 years on Tourance (orig) and they never let me down. When I eventually fitted PR4s - I realised that they were far better for road use.
I wouldn't go back to Tourance now

Last as long as any other rubber rings I've tried on the GS (about 8000kms) and you'll get at least two rears to a front.
Exceptional grip and exceptional longevity can't be present in the same tyre!!

2k of light use out of a rear. Avon gave me a partial refund; I got less than 3k out of a second one.

Favourites are Pirelli Trail Attack 2s. I get about 6k out of a pair (on my 3rd set). They are at least the equal of the Avons in all other respects.
Dunlop RS3s are a close second.
PR4s and Tourances are way behind ime.

I loved the Pirelli but the front wore in a very unusual manner and when I took it off you could nearly crumple it in your fist......... there was nothing left of it.

5 of us have just come back from 2500 miles of Alpine road heaven in Switzerland.
3 on PR4 trails (1 WC, 2 Heaxheads), 1 on Battlax A40 (Hexhead - mine) and 1 on Heidenau k60 scout (yr 2000 - 1150). In the 90% riding in the dry, there was no speed difference in any of us on any of the roads we went on. I.E at whatever pace was set by whoever led, all 5 of us sat at the pace quite happily. We ride together often and would be totally honest if the pace was too hot. In the 10% wet...again there was no difference. The k60s left me astounded. It has now got me re-evaluating the whole tyre issue.

I'm toying with using K60s but my riding is almost 90% motorway with a few back roads when I get chance. Even they don't need a knobby tread.
BUT - the K60 has a good tread life and isn't costly hence my interest.

From the Autobahn of Germany to the pot-holed roads of Romania, the gravel tracks of Montenegro and the twisty mountain passes of Austria and Italy... these tyres were confidence-inspiring at every moment. Also, after 10,000 miles they still look like new - what are these tyres made from?
BUT - the K60 has a good tread life and isn't costly hence my interest.
