are you sure?not in all cases anyway,my replaced bike was later sold on to another retail(less discerning)punter the dealer did not seem to mind passing this info on.btw they never did fix it
I had a G450X that had a hot starting issue. Dealer could not find the problem. I got my money back (well close enough).
As the bike was financed (BMW Finance), my rejection dealings were with them, not the dealer.
It took a while to sort out as BMW finance needed to liase with the dealer I bought it from (which was some distance away from me), and the dealer who was attempting to fix it (semi-local).
But I cut a good enough deal in the end; but not without some agressive tactics from myself plus some legal knowledge.
