Out patrolling again this year around Seaways. Not sure what type it is other than its black with one headlight on (I only saw him/her in my mirrors).

That's the sort of description my wife would give!![]()

They have quite a fleet of unmarked vehicles including a Scania tractor unit (Hampshire have one too)![]()

At a guess it will be their hyabusa, and the cop who rides it is a sneaky bugger by all accounts.

One of the great advantages of being semi retired, you don't have to go out on a Sunday

I've never seen an unmarked police bike as an issue. I don't ride like a cnut, try to look far enough ahead/use my mirrors etc etc. Never do 3 figure speeds. Not being evangelical but I figure there are enough knobbers out on two (and four and more) wheels for any Police to ignore me and concentrate on those that really do need targetting.
Not wishing to be argumentative Davey, but you don't have to ride like a c*** for them to give you a pull. They will often be very much out in the open, which is when the tend to pull the knobbers that blatantly ignore their presence.
On occasions the unmarked bikes will be very covert and no amount of checking your mirrors and forward planning will spot them, fortunately if they tag you riding in a mildly spirited manner it will more often that not be a pull and a little chat.
