I've got a 2610 running on CN7 but wanted to upgrade to CN9 to include the Baltic states. The Garmin website "Find out which mapping works with which GPS units?" page doesn't work on my PC for some reason. On the compatibility page https://my.garmin.com/maps/updates.htm when I put in my unit ID (10 digits) it doesn't recognise it, and in the "Where can I find my serial number" section the 2610 isn't shown. The whole thing does my head in :( I guess someone's done this upgrade and if so could they please give me some pointers?

Might be worth waiting for CN 2009 which can't be too much longer before it's released? Your 2610 might not be recognised at it may be an unsupported unit as it may now be regarded by them as obsolete, even if it works well.

I think you might have problems getting an unlock code for what is now obsolete software, but if you give Garmin a call, I'm sure they'll have the actual information.

I have a 2610 and spoke to Garmin last Friday about this. CN2009 will be out in about 2 weeks for the 2610 - or so they said. CN2009 NT is out already apparantly.

Just logged into mygarmin account and I can buy either the DVD or download CN 2009 NT for €79.99 for my Zumo.

Took me to a site with lots of French looking words  Asked about the 60csx and no updates available

Thanks for the information chaps. I'll wait a few weeks and then get in touch with Garmin about CN2009.
