Urgent help

Pulling my hair out, trying to get the throttle side bar end out and it just keeps turning got the nearside out ok (tight but ok) Got a 2000mile trip at the end of the month and I just can't see away of getting it out, help me please.
PS its got heated grips as well.

Just went back out into the garage and low and behold it came undone first time bloody motorbikes, you'd think I'd know better after 30 odd years
