USB on DVD Players

...Anybody got new DVD player that contains a USB slot....???

If so was wondering how good/easy it was for using it to play movie files from either a separate hard drive or usb key....

...I'm fed up buying/burning movies to DVD and the price of storage is dropping like a stone....£13p will buy a terabyte of data, which is lot of movies....

Buy cheap laptop with HDMI out, inbuilt wireless and windows media player pre-installed and supplied with remote control

plug it into your TV

play files from a usb key

or....

download movies direct from mininova etc. using the inbuilt wireless connection from your wireless router

then play directly on TV - no usb key needed while sitting on your sofa with remote in hand.
