User name picture

How do I put a picture under my username on this site. Please make any instructions simple, as I am an idiot

Go to user cp on the top menu, choose the edit options menu, then go to the avatar section near the bottom, click change avatar on that page, then choose one from the list or upload one (custom avatar, check the yes box) from a location on your computer in that menu box suing the browse facility to locate one on your pc (somewhere). You will need a pic 100x100 pixels or so.

I'm still looking in my user CP but I still can't find the option to upload a custom avatar. Or do I need a certain amount of posts before I can use that option?

Laughingbob. If you're having difficulty getting a photo to the right size you can e-mail a photo to me at work and I'll shrink it for you. Two weeks before Christmas and no-one wants to buy a house.
