ill copy what i posted in the cf moto thread:

'i test rode a 450mt today

and lasted 2 miles

is it supposed to feel that odd?

came outta smalley cross and towards breadsall if you know it

got to the s bend just before it doing under the limit and CODE BROWN

like youve took the front away from me

do you get used to it and is it a bigger wheel thing

lovely bike other wise - fit well, comfy bars, good dash, clear, engine excellent

rode the same way on the guerrilla and nothing - didnt even think about what was coming - just did it

450 front is 90 - guerilla front is 120 - is it making that much of a difference?

maybe it was the tyres - but the enfield has blocky semi knobblies and for 6k theyve been fine

i want to like it but not if its gonna make me feel like that all the time

confused.'

ive never ridden a bike with that size wheel before and until i tipped it in it didnt feel any different

is it something id get used to in time? the bike apart from the odd feeling is brilliant

wouldnt want to drop that much on a bike to have that doubt with it

haylp

Should be fine
i can jump between wheel sizes no prob
Did you check the tyre pressure in the front low pressure that can make a larger front wheel feel exactly like you described

Me too
GSA is 19
Tenere is 90/90 21 and on knobbly tyres
Doesn’t bother me at all
Just ride the thing

21” - my V Strom 800 DE ,, it handles very well on the road 👍

If not used to 21" front and off road style tyres it will feel strange - but once used to them they are absolutely fine and IMO far better suited to our crumbling pot holed roads.

Have 21" fronts on all my bikes and it does not slow me down in the least :D
