There is a whiff of the Tuareg about it (not surprising really)
Agree, unfortunately it's the current styling trend. Add a small pack on the passenger seat then good luck trying to swing a leg high enough to get on.Looks good except for the pillion seat being too high/stepped.
Normally by this stage, I'd say that the order has been placed but, I reckon the new Stelvio will be some sort of homologation between the V85tt and the V100 Mandello. If this is the case it will be a great bike. I'm fortunate to have both the V100 Mandello S and a Guardia D'onore V85. In my opinion two great but very different bikes. I took the Mandello to Wales earlier this year and it was fabulous on the A roads and the better B roads. However, it was still good but, not as good as the V85 on the smaller unclassified roads. The new Stelvio may be able to deliver equally as well as both the V85 and the V100 on all roads. How long before Wrinkleyowlie's order has been placed![]()

I'll not be rushing into an early order without an extended test ride. I love the look of both the V85 and the V100 so, looks of the new Stelvio will be very important to me. That new motor in the V100 is an absolute peach, pity the gearbox is good but not as good as the V85's

Maybe that's because it's a transverse V twin and the CX500 was a transverse V twin. The new Guzzi water cooled motor looks like a big CX500 engine.
Sorry couldn't resist.![]()

Any ideas when it will be available to punters?
I would be very interested in a long test ride to see if it would be worth exchanging the v85tt for…..
(once I had cleared the garage a bit)
Yeah, that, and maintenanceBecause of the cleaning? These look like tubeless rims, so that shouldn't deter folks who don't want tubes.

I'd have thought the Guzzi and CX are transverse and the likes of Harleys are longitudinal? I may be wrong. All to do with which way the crankshaft runs?I believe the Guzzi and Honda CX engines are longitudinal V twins.
