Voge DS900X

same here. I does beggar the question of why some folks put loud exhausts on their bikes? we don't invite the loud bike types on our trips as we don't want to be any more noticeable than a group of 10 already are.
Totally agree. It’s another vanity thing for some reason .

We are now offering all Euro 5 motorcycles and scooters in the Voge range a 2 year vehicle parts and labour warranty.

This means you are able to take your bike or scooter to ANY Voge dealer within the UK for support from a Voge technician (Participating dealers only).

I'm favouring the new Tiger Sport in 660/800 guise as a new bike for Euro touring in the future. Lighter and more confidence in the brand.

I'm off to look at the 660 tomorrow....wondering how it'll be two up...

The new Tiger 800 is a very nice looking bike as a pretty lightweight tourer.

Unfortunately there are some on here that are more than a bit stupid .
Seems to be a British biker trait . Vanity before sanity . Blinkered beyond belief .
Just look how bikers in the UK dismiss large scooters as being beneath them , yet they are all the rage in mainland Europe .
And some dismiss bikes like the NT1100 as being a poor seller because they don’t see one on their blinkered way to go get egg and chips at the local cafe .

Meanwhile the bike they deem a poor seller is the biggest selling sports tourer in Europe .

The forum that keeps delivering !!
Nothing to do with the weather and their lifestyle

Whats the international dealership warranty and recovery support like?
For what I can see is 2 years. After that...in the skip, buy an other one. Or what ever someone on this forum recons is the best. :spl1f: ;)

Whats a loud bike type ?

The ones that take off the perfectly working exhaust and deliberately fit a louder one. Usually to say look at me but in reality it just pisses everyone also off. It also draws attention to the rider which if one is wanting to ride a little spiritedly isn’t a good idea.
I don’t really care if someone thinks their bike needs to be louder as long as they don’t ride with me. Hopefully they’ll attract the attention of the police rather than those of us that prefer to quietly get a move on.

Oh bugger thats me then.
Oh well.

There is a dealer for these quite close to me so I went and spent a fair bit of time looking closely at this new 900 - it is ( currently) very good value for money , ( in fact astonishing value for the money compared to the F900 GSA I had looked at in the dealers that morning ) I had spent hours looking at as many reviews and videos as possible so I felt I knew it a bit before I went .
The indicator switch is vague ( as i saw in the vids ) . What NONE of them picked up on is the chain adjusting arrangement - it is very poor and likely to break without Very careful handling .
Also the rear wheel spindle has a double stop casting to stop it rotating when the retaining nut on the other side is removed . The casting stops are far too small and shallow and on the new machine I looked at in the showroom one side was already broken and the bike hasn’t turned a wheel . I suppose a new rear spindle with a hex could be made to get round this .
I suppose if they are committed enough to get this far into the market they will adjust these design flaws as the warranty claims come in .

There are plenty of people with aftermarket exhausts that ride baffle in that make very little extra noise. You can save weight and have something more aesthetically pleasing than the current Euro dustbins being supplied with new bikes.

I'm with you on the 'Euro dustbin' aspect....less so on saving 2 or 3kg on an all up 350kg behemoth......(It'd be way cheaper if most riders dropped a few KG of belly flab....)

Popped into P and H in Crawley yesterday . Was speaking to the boss and he said they are having a big change shortly .
you saw the Boss , Paul ! when i worked there you would be lucky to see him once a month.
tell Marcus he is fat ! tell him i said so . ( i upset him on the day of my interview , he rode his bike into the workshop, and nearly ran me down )

Marcus was a good lad .

Sadly it was all locked up last week when I went past.

P and H are no more. To be replaced by another branch of Superbike Factory.
