Warning Light

Anyone have any idea why the Yellow waring light and Engine Electronics icon come on and stay on.Same thing happened a week ago but seemed to clear its self the next time I switched on the ignition.Same things happened this evening and this time turning on and off makes no difference !!!

Have you petrol in the bike? The light stays on when you need to fill up

I had this happen to me back in May of this year as I set off to Northen Spain

Went straight to dealer who plugged the bike into their computer - seems a sensor that measures crank speed/rotations had not a matched reading from a sensor that measures cam speed/rotations (out by 1' apparently).

They reset the on borad computer and all has been well ever since.

As a further comment they said that a yellow waring triangle is only ever a minor fault and that it's safe to continue ridding - just needs checking out with a dealer when pos.

Same problem with the yellow triangle (04 bike, reg Jan 05) and same answer from Rainbow. Fixed at 600 mile service and no problems since.
