Hi Dudes,

Just been having several conversations regarding the need to take warning triangles with you on a trip to Europe. Advice from the motoring organisations say bring it, however most bikers I have spoken to have not bothered, including myself, but I wouldn't want to be stopped by an over zealous traffic cop to slap me with a fine for not having one. So the question is: Do you need a warning triangle for a motorcycle whilst travelling in Europe and if so, are there some makes that pack down small enough for a pannier.

I have seen the triangles in Halfords but would like something a little smaller if possible.

Never taken a triangle on a bike. Don't take the spare bulbs either, or the hiviz vest but have a basic first aid kit. Don't bother with beam deflectors either. I'm sure most coppers would understand the limited space on a bike.

Great, not only have you broken down, but your new Shoei has just been run over by that asleep at the wheel taxi/lorry/school bus driver! :blast

depending on what type of topbox u have buy some good quality reflective tape and stick it to the inside of your topbox lid like this -
